Goal of the Event

The course expands on participants’ prior experience in spinal surgery, with a special emphasis on cutting-edge developments in minimally invasive spine procedures, especially spinal endoscopy and minimally invasive decompression (MID).

Learning Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the principles, indications, and anatomical landmarks of spinal endoscopy
  • Apply key techniques for tubular micro- and biportal endoscopic discectomy and decompression
  • Integrate endoscopic techniques safely into clinical practice

  • Lectures on updated MISS and Endoscopic surgical treatment of the lumbar spine pathology
  • Decompression and fusion techniques of UBE and Tubular surgery

  • Practical workshop on hyper-realistic simulators featured with UBE and Tubular surgery

A professional community of spine surgeons

UzSpine is a professional non-profit organization uniting physicians and scientists specializing in the surgical treatment of spine and spinal cord diseases and injuries.

The association was founded to consolidate the professional community, improve the quality of medical care, and introduce advanced technologies into clinical practice throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We work closely with leading medical institutions, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and international partner organizations in neurosurgery and vertebrology.

To promote the development of spinal neurosurgery in Uzbekistan by uniting professionals, implementing evidence-based medicine, and improving access to highly qualified care for patients with spine diseases.

UzSpine runs a comprehensive continuing medical education program for specialists in spinal neurosurgery and vertebrology.

Annual National Conference

The flagship event of the association. Plenary lectures, hands-on workshops, case discussion sessions. CME-accredited.

Masterclasses & Hands-On Workshops

Practical training on cadaveric material and simulators: pedicle screw fixation, endoscopic discectomy, intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.

Online Learning

Webinars, video lectures, and case discussions in online-streaming format. Available as recordings in the member area.

Scholarships & Grants

UzSpine provides educational grants for young specialists to complete fellowships in leading foreign clinics.

The association supports and coordinates the scientific research activities of its members.

Uzbekistan Spine Surgery Registry

A multi-center database of patients who have undergone spine surgery. The goal is to analyze long-term outcomes and optimize surgical indications.

Epidemiology of Degenerative Spine Disease

A multi-center observational study of the prevalence and risk factors of degenerative spine disease among the adult population of Uzbekistan.

National Spinal Trauma Registry

Creation of a unified information system for the registration, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with acute spinal trauma.
